As we were riding, we laughed about how there isn’t much to talk about in our blog today. We woke up, we ate a good breakfast, and we rode—the end.
The bed-and-breakfast we stayed at was just right. It had a garage for the bike and was a beautiful older house. It had rooms for four different groups of people, but only one other person was in the house, and he left early in the morning. We had a good self-serve continental breakfast.
As I said above, the ride was uneventful. It was beautiful. We added miles earlier in the week, so today’s ride and tomorrow’s ride are a little shorter. We arrived at our next accommodation at 2:30. It is also a bed-and-breakfast. We could’ve camped tonight, but the closer we get to DC, the better we feel about staying in a home. And showers are so refreshing. Plus, there is rain in the forecast for late tonight and early tomorrow morning.
Here is a short video from our ride.

We booked tonight’s stay late last night with little information. It turns out to be a historic home in Brunswick. The owner kindly took us on a tour of all the different rooms, as nobody else was staying here tonight. I was even able to help her husband hang a piece of sheetrock in one of the units they are finishing. 😁
