We had a good ride, long slow uphill then 20 to 30 miles of downhill to finish the GAP. We are about 20 miles in on the CNO, Canal Trail, and Camp camping in a hiker biker campsite.

It has been a beautiful sunshiny day with perfect temperature.

For dinner, we had taco soup. Bryan had freeze dried it before our trip. It was delicious.

We went through several tunnels today and across a long viaduct, and over several rail bridges. Read about rail banking to understand how these rails to trails got started in the first place. We are so grateful that they were able to make good use of the railroad right of way.

We’ve left at about 9:30 AM and rode until about 7 PM.
